Mohammed Abacha, son of the former military head of state, General Sani Abacha, has decamped from the defunct Congress For Progressive Change(CPC), for the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP). This while efforts are still being made to resolve the internal crisis in the party.
Abacha, who was denied the governorship ticket of the CPC after having won the primary of the party, in 2011, spoke at the PDP headquarters in Abuja.
According to him, said he left the PDP due to lack of internal democracy but he is now convinced his return to the party is the best move.
