Former Deputy Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon Linus Ali, 59, (Aliphem) is dead.
Ali’s first son, Ikechukwu confirmed his father’s death in Enugu yesterday.
Late Ali who retired from the police before joining politics, represented the Igboeze North 1 Constituency in the assembly between 1999 and 2003.
He will be buried at his home town at Umuossai, Onicha Enugu Ezike in Igboeze North Local Government on May 2, 2014, after a funeral mass at St Theresa’s Catholic Church, Onicha Enugu-Ezike. Left to mourn him include his wife Evelyn and nine children among several other relations.]
