A building in the office Complex of the Nigerian Football Federation in Wuse Zone 7, Abuja has been gutted by fire today.
The fire incident which was said to have started at about 10 am affected mainly the offices of the Chief Accountant, the General Secretary and the ICT unit.
The fire destroyed among other items, books and other office equipment in the affected offices. NFF president, Aminu Maigari, described the incident as an act of God.
“I won’t want to apportion blame, let just take it as an act of God. We want to thank the fire fighters for responding within a short period of time,” he said.
