The Federal Government has declared Thursday October 1st as a public holiday to commemorate Nigeria’s 55th Independence anniversary.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Abubakar Magaji, made this disclosure on behalf of the FG in a statement signed by the ministry’s Director of Press, Yusuf Isiaka.
