Nollywood actress and producer Etinosa Idemudia has publicly criticized her colleague, Frederick Leonard, after he blocked her on Instagram following a comment she made.
The drama began when Frederick shared a video from a movie set, praising his crew for their enthusiasm and energy.
“My Crew Dey give me JOY ๐๐๐. At work, Making Another CLASSIC. Keep Your Eyes on FREDERICK LEONARD TV. 2025 go Sweet, I don tell una,” he captioned the post.
In response, Etinosa took to the comment section to highlight what she saw as an ironyโstating that while Frederick motivates his own crew, he allegedly mistreats crew members on other sets.
“You dey ginger your crew but go to other person’s set to traumatize their crew. Is it good?” she wrote.
Shortly after, the actress revealed that Leonard blocked her over what she described as a “harmless joke.”
Expressing her disappointment, Etinosa questioned why he didnโt reach out for clarification instead of taking such action. She insisted that her comment wasnโt meant to offend him but was simply the truth.
In a lengthy Instagram post, she wrote,
“Dear Frederick Leonard, You can block me for cracking a simple joke with you!! It was an obvious joke you could have deleted or come to my DM to say haba babe I don’t like it and I’ll sharply apologise and delete. It was never intended to hurt you but I guess it hurt SO MUCH BECAUSE IT’S TRUE!!!
Thunder fire you. Block me so you can sleep at night but you cannot block that voice in your head TELLING YOU THE TRUTH. The truth is bitter. Crew Members are human beings!! Stop treating them like ANIMALS and making Clout Chasing videos to look like a good person.. A lot of Crew Members turn down jobs when they hear you are on it. That’s deep bro.
Only your friend will tell you your mouth is smelling. You have blocked your sister too. You will keep blocking my dear.”
Adding to the caption of the post, Etinosa added,
“My mother always complains about the way I joke, saying that not everybody sometimes finds it funny. I truly apologize to my big brother and former friend Frederick. This thing pain me I no go lie. Kilagbe kileju. It is well โค๏ธ.”
