The alleged abductor of Ese Oruru, the 14-year-old girl from Bayelsa state, Yinusa Dahiru was on Tuesday, March 8, arraigned in court.
Yinusa Dahiru was arraigned before the Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa on a five count charge of abduction, illicit sex, unlawful canal knowledge, among others.
Yinusa is alleged to have abducted Ese from her home in Bayelsa 8-months ago, and subsequently took her to his home in Kano, where he forcefully converted her to Islam and married her.
