Elvis Poko, a Nigerian comedian, actor, and singer, has demanded that the controversial musician Portable refund his money within 24 hours. This demand comes after Portable breached a contract by failing to appear at a music concert organized by Elvis Poko. In a post on Instagram, Elvis Poko made it clear that he does not intend to involve the police in the matter.
Portable was scheduled to perform at Elvis Poko’s event “Elvis Poko Waterside Boy Tour Live In Concert” in Warri, Delta State, on June 30. However, he did not show up and has not returned the money he was reportedly paid.
In a post on his Instagram page, Elvis mentioned that he has instructed his legal team not to pursue damages or compensation for the losses incurred due to Portable’s absence. He emphasized that he is a real person and has given the street-hop singer 24 hours to refund the money.
Elvis wrote:
“I personally instructed my Lawyers to not lay any claims for damages or compensations . I’m not your friend, I paid you in full . Your invoices and confirmation videos plus apology texts from you & your team are with Bar OJ . I’m not a social media person . I don’t chase clout on social media. I’m a real life person. Ogbeni I am giving you 24 hours to refund my money in full . I won’ t talk about this again !”
He added: “@portablebaeby @babyluvgram let it be on record, so the earth can bear me witness. I’m not going to court and I’m not getting the police involved as well. I need nothing off you, payback what I paid you… 🧜♀️ ❌⚔️ 24 hours is all you got.”
