Nigerian singer and rapper Oladotun Alade, better known as Dotman, has expressed regret over his decision to move to the United States from Nigeria.
The “Star Life” artist shared that life abroad has been challenging, revealing he’s been silently battling personal struggles since relocating.
Dotman disclosed in a heartfelt Instagram post that he hasn’t seen his children in nearly two years and wishes he never made the move.
“Today, I regret ever deciding to leave Nigeria and move to the US. I have been struggling so much in silence. [I] haven’t seen my kids for about two years now,” the post read in part.
This comes as more Nigerian celebrities continue to move abroad. Over the past decade, stars like Asake, Eldee, Dr. Sid, Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Rita Dominic, Tacha, Uche Jombo, and Emeka Ike have all relocated from the country.
