Don Richard has responded to viral rumours claiming he had passed away, putting the reports to rest.
The veteran actor, whose real name is Richards Oguntimehin, became a trending topic after social media posts on Thursday, April 23, 2026, alleged that he had died following a prolonged battle with kidney failure.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on Friday, April 24, 2026, the actor reassured fans that he is in good health and doing well.
“There’s nothing wrong with me, I appreciate my fans for the love and concern. I’m alive, hale and hearty. I dey alive ooo, the bloggers should continue their bad posting, God will judge them amen,” he said.
Don Richard also thanked supporters for their concern while condemning those responsible for spreading false information.
The actor previously appealed for financial assistance in 2025 after revealing that he had been battling kidney disease. At the time, he disclosed that he had sold his belongings, including his car, to fund treatment.
