Don Jazzy, whose real name is Michael Collins Ajereh, has opened up about why he avoids complaining about the challenges that come with fame and success.
Speaking during a recent episode of the Keeping It Real With Jima podcast, the music executive explained that he worries God might take away his blessings if he focuses too much on the negative side of success.
The host asked: “What’s something success gave you that you actually didn’t want?”
Don Jazzy replied: “I like everything that God gave me. Obviously, there are sometimes that you just wish that somethings were different. But I’m not wishing for anything different, I’m just saying before God will now decide to adjust my life [laughs].”
The Mavin Records boss also stated that in another life, he would like to be even wealthier so he could help more people, adding that financial limitations sometimes prevent him from doing all he wishes.
