Less than two weeks after the patriarch of the Arisekola Alao family died in London, the family has lost another member in its fold.
Jelilat Arisekola Alao, wife of the late, Aare Muslumi of Yorubaland, Arisekola Alao who died 18th June breathed her last yesterday after being involved in a ghastly motor accident, at Eyenkorin, Ilorin, Kwara State.
The deceased who was aged 62 has been buried according to Islamic rites at her residence in Apata, Ibadan.
In his sermon after the interment, Chief Imam of Arisekola-Alao Mosque, Sheikh Mustapha Akuru, urged the family to take solace in Almighty Allah. He urged them not to allow incident take them away from their faith and God.
According to him: “As a Muslim, it is clear that all souls will taste death; though it is painful, because of the timing, but Allah knows his plan.
“ I want to urge the family to be steadfast and not be moved. It is from him we came and definitely, we will return unto him at His appointed time.”
Dignitaries who commiserated with the family include wife of the Oyo State governor, Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi, Baale Bodija, Alhaji Rasheed Adesokan and many associates of her late husband.
