Ifedayo Olarinde, often known as Daddy Freeze, a prominent personality in Nigerian media, responds to accusations of being a distant parent while explaining why he hasn’t seen his kids in seven years.
In a live video session with comedian Julius Agwu, the media figure said that he hasn’t spoken to his kids in nearly ten years.
Daddy Freeze continued by saying that the only way he knows to get in touch with his kids is through calling his ex-wife Opeyemi.
In spite of these circumstances, Daddy Freeze assured everyone that he was well and urged them not to worry too much about him.
The contentious media figure expressed his concern for his children’s safety and asked for prayers for their protection.
In his words, “I never see my kids for seven years; everybody wey dey follow me know. If I see them for road, I no fit recognize them. The only number their mama give me to reach them na her number. I just pray they are okay. I am fine, if you all her worried about me, I am cool.”
It’s worth noting that Daddy Freeze entered into matrimony with Opeyemi Olarinde, and their union resulted in the birth of two children. However, the couple went through a divorce in 2014, with both parties levying allegations of adultery and domestic violence against each other.
