The popular comedian took to his Instagram page to vent his anger yestersay. He Wrote:
I don’t know what is wrong with us. We can not maintain by reparing the things we have. Even to preserve what we have so that we don’t have to repair is a problem.
The greatest threat to any road is water. Be it erosion or water in a pothole. Because as it filters into the ground under the tarred road, it softens the sand base used to level, during the road construction. Nearly muddy. So when vehicles drive pass the top, that portion depresses. So when it rains again that depression continues to let water sip through to under the road and na so e take dey spoil. As for the apron, in a country like ours when danfo drivers are trying to create the 5th 6th and 7th lane… we can be sure that unless the aprons are protected the road will begin to chop like the middle picture.
What stops the workers from spreading the tar that has been scrapped off and using same to save the roads? We need to set up committee for that again?
