Pastor Aanuoluwani Olaniyan, the team leader of the church Royal Sisters said at the commencement of the prayer sessions on Thursday in Kaduna that it was “to rescue Nigeria from all its woos.”

She said the women would continue with the prayers up to May 2015, to seekdivine intervention and empowerment for the nation.

Olaniyan said the prayers would be offered till the nation experienced political peace during and after 2015 elections.

“The church of God is the cause of evil in Nigeria because we are no longer praying for our nation and the people leading us. That is why many political andreligious leaders are going astray,” the team leader said.

Olaniyan said women have a critical role to play in rescuing Nigeria from its present state, urging them to be steadfast in offering daily prayers for Nigeria and its leaders.
