Ogun police have arrested a cemetery worker, Oluwatoyosi Akorede with two human skulls.
Akorede, an attendant at Ayepe Cemetery, was arrested on Sunday night at Isale Oko in Sagamu by a patrol team, led by Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Moses Aduroja.
It was gathered the suspect may have got the skulls by exhuming bodies.
It was learnt he confessed the items were for a ritual.
Police spokesman Abimbola Oyeyemi said Akorede was being interrogated.
“The Commissioner of Police Ahmed Iliyasu has directed that the suspect be transferred to the command headquarters, Eleweran in Abeokuta for further investigation,” Oyeyemi said.
