Burna Boy, a well-known Nigerian singer, has been named Best African Act at the 2022 MTV European Music Awards, or MTV EMAs.
The award ceremony was held on November 13th, 2022 in Dusseldorf, Germany. DJ Spinall, a Disc Jockey, was one of the artists who performed at the event.
Burna Boy was nominated in the category alongside Ayra Starr, Black Sheriff, Tems, Zuchu, and Musa Keyz.
Tems, on the other hand, lost the Best New Act award to Seventeen.
