All emolumemts of staff the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been slashed by 50% and some workers laid off.
The cost-cutting policy that includes reducing staff strength by 50 percent and cutting of staff salaries and allowances by the same margin was contained in a letter addressed to all directors and administrative staff of the party, by Wale Oladipo, a professor and national secretary of the party.
Also affected are party’s security officers whose strenght will also be reduced by 50 per cent.
