An FCT High Court, Jabi, admits Senate President Bukola Saraki, his deputy Sen. Ike Ekweremadu and others to bail.
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja granted bail to Senator Bukola Saraki and Senator Ike Ekweremadu over charges of criminal conspiracy and alleged forgery of the Nigerian Senate Standing Rules in 2015.
Both Saraki and Ekweremadu appeared before Justice Halilu Yusuf on Monday along with a former clerk of the National Assembly, Alhaji Salisu Abubakar Maikasuwa and his deputy, Mr. Benedict Efeturi.
Justice Yusuf Halilu ordered the accused to produce two reasonable sureties who must own properties in Asokoro, Wuse II or Garki areas of Abuja.
