Bobby Caldwell, best known for his song “What You Won’t Do For Love,” has died at the age of 71, leaving his fans heartbroken.
The singer and songwriter had been unable to walk for approximately 5 years due to a torn tendon in his ankle. His wife also revealed that he had been “Floxed,” a condition that had taken control of his health for more than 6 years.
Bobby’s death was announced by his wife on his official Twitter page on Wednesday, March 15.
The Tweet reads:
”Bobby passed away here at home. I held him tight in my arms as he left us. I am forever heartbroken. Thanks to all of you for your many prayers over the years. He had been “FLOXED,” it took his health over the last 6 years and 2 months. Rest with God, my Love. -Mary Caldwell”
