Nigerian singer-songwriter Bnxn, also known as Benson, has generously paid a University of Ilorin student’s outstanding school fees of ₦87,430.
This act of kindness came after the student reached out for help in response to a tweet by Bnxn.
Earlier in the day, Bnxn had shared a message with his followers, prompting the student to comment, pleading for assistance with his registration fees. The student included a screenshot of his school dashboard showing the unpaid amount, along with his mobile banking number, hoping for the singer’s help.
He wrote, “Help a brother stay in school 🙏 8123792507 Opay.”
Bnxn quickly responded with a simple yet impactful reply: “Done,” confirming he had cleared the student’s fees.
In a thankful response, the student expressed his deep gratitude, saying, “Received, wow! I’m so grateful 😭😭😭 I’m truly humbled by your kindness. Your support will help me follow my passion.”
He added, “I pray you surpass your peers in every way. Thank you for making great music; you’re an inspiration! Ka sha miliki.”
