Businessman Blord has shared details of a recent meeting with Peter Obi while travelling to Lagos, expressing admiration for the politician’s vision for the country.
Blord revealed the encounter in a social media post on Tuesday, April 28, stating that he met Obi while heading to inspect one of his projects in Lagos.
According to him, the project is part of his estate development known as City of David 2.0.
“ON MY WAY TO LAGOS TO INSPECT THE DEVELOPMENT IN MY LAGOS ESTATE CITY OF DAVID 2.0, I BUMPED INTO HIS EXCELLENCY MR PETER OBI, I APPRECIATED HIS EFFORTS FOR A BETTER NIGERIA. A NEW NIGERIA IS POSSIBLE,” he wrote.
The meeting happened barely a week after Blord regained freedom following more than 20 days in Kuje Prison over a series of controversial allegations.
Blord is also currently involved in an ongoing legal dispute with social media activist VeryDarkMan.
Reports say both men appeared in court on Monday, April 27, marking their first public encounter since Blord’s release.
VeryDarkMan had reportedly filed a case against the businessman over allegations linked to fraud and copyright infringement.
During the proceedings, there were claims of tense moments between both sides.
According to reports, Blord and his legal team approached VDM in what seemed like an attempt to ease tensions and encourage him to withdraw the case.
However, VDM allegedly refused, insisting he would continue with the legal battle.
