The Nigerian hip-hop scene is bracing for a major legal showdown as rapper Blaqbonez has announced his intention to take colleague Odumodublvck to court. The escalation follows serious allegations of sexual abuse made against him during their ongoing feud.
Speaking in a recent interview, Blaqbonez revealed that while he is usually indifferent to being portrayed as the “bad guy” in public disputes, the gravity of sexual misconduct allegations is something he cannot ignore. He emphasized the need to clear his name through formal legal channels.
“I’m taking him to court. So come to court and prove that I’m what you say I am,” Blaqbonez asserted, adding that he is committed to seeing the case through to its logical conclusion.
The Origin of the Dispute
According to Blaqbonez, the friction between the two prominent artists did not happen overnight. He traced the roots of their animosity back to mid-2023, specifically around June or July, stemming from an encounter involving a woman they both met at the same location.
What began as a personal disagreement has now escalated into a serious legal conflict, with Blaqbonez demanding that Odumodublvck substantiate his claims before a judge. As of the time of reporting, Odumodublvck has not publicly responded to the threat of litigation.
