Music legend Stevie Wonder has been honored with the top spot on Billboard’s newly released list titled “The 75 Best R&B Artists of All Time.”
According to Billboard staff, the ranking was determined based on multiple factors including vocal ability, discography, career longevity, industry accomplishments, transformative influence, and lasting cultural or generational impact.
Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, and Whitney Houston follow Wonder at positions 2 through 5.
The rest of the top 10 features other iconic names such as James Brown, Prince, Mariah Carey, R. Kelly, and Marvin Gaye.
