Famed American singer Beyoncé has made a generous donation of $2.5 million to support California wildfire victims through her charitable foundation, BeyGOOD.
The recent California wildfires caused widespread devastation, destroying thousands of properties and displacing numerous families.
The donation, first reported by gossip blog The Shade Room via Instagram, highlights Beyoncé’s commitment to aiding affected communities.
According to Variety, an American entertainment magazine, the funds from BeyGOOD will be directed to families in Altadena and Pasadena, as well as local churches and community centers.
The Instagram post stated, “Beyoncé’s foundation, BeyGOOD, has announced a $2.5 million donation to assist wildfire victims. According to @variety, the foundation will provide support to Altadena and Pasadena communities.”
