Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has publicly dismissed viral reports claiming she was arrested and detained by the police for defamation of character.

Speculation began circulating after popular social media influencer Esabod an associate of Iyabo Ojo alleged that Anjorin had been taken into custody at the Alagbon Police Station in Lagos following a petition filed by fellow actresses Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo, and Dayo Amusa.
Esabod wrote:
“Lizzy Anjorin has been arrested by ??? and has been remanded at Alagbon Police Station in Lagos.2 Lizzy’s bail conditions will be reviewed from Monday for defamation of character.”
Lizzy’s Response
Breaking her silence on Sunday evening, the controversial actress took to her Instagram page to debunk the claims, warning her followers not to fall for the narrative being pushed by her rivals.
She wrote:
“Believe Esabod and Iyabo Ojo at your own risk.”
Ongoing Feud
This development comes amidst a heated exchange between Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo. Just recently, Anjorin accused Ojo of attending the funeral of late actress Allwell Ademola merely to “mock her” and chase clout, criticizing Ojo’s decision to wear full makeup to the solemn event.
