Cameroonians honor the late Nigerian Afrobeat singer Mohbad, who passed away a few weeks ago, before a football game.
Many Nigerians are still in a state of shock at the legendary musician’s tragic death, even though his music is still in demand around the world.
Cameroonian fans were seen paying their respects to the late Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, in a recent viral video that has been going around social media.
These Cameroonians sang the song “Ronaldo,” written and sung by the artist in honor of Cristiano Ronaldo, a five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or.
This touching act exemplifies how football players’ bonds to their fans are still forged through music. It also highlights the enduring respect and adoration the young musician enjoyed outside of Nigeria.
