As the ninth season of the BBNaija reality show kicks off, organizers have revealed this year’s theme and introduced the housemates who will compete for a grand prize worth millions of naira.
The theme for this year’s edition, announced on the official Big Brother Naija Instagram page, is ‘No Loose Guard.’
This season’s host is Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, a former housemate and the show’s consistent anchor for multiple seasons.
Zion and Chinwe
The first set of housemates unveiled are described as lovers, Zion and Chinwe, who are dating and unfazed to show their love to the world. Their pair name is ZINWE.
Fairme David and Michky
The next duo entering BIggie’s house is Fairme David and Michky. The pair that is united in body goals as gym love is known as RADICALS!
DJ Flo and Rhuthee
The next in line is a female duo, DJ Flo and Rhuthee and their pair known as FLORUISH. They cannot wait to take on the ‘No Loose Guard’ house and scatter any ship matter.
Chinne and Nne
Cuteness overload as an aunty and her niece, Chinne and Nne promises to be all the energy in the house. The name of the dynamic duo is NDI NNE!
Sooj and Topher
Sooj and Topher, are colleagues who called themselves Aces.
“You’ll guess our move, but you won’t know our next move. Our strategy is unpredictability,” the duo said.
Shaun and Victoria
Shaun and Victoria, are friends who met in Dubai in 2022. They are called Shatoria.
Handi and Wanni
Wanni and Handi, are identical twins from Kaduna. They are also DJs. They are single and ready to mingle. Their collective is called Wanni X Handi.
Tjay and Ben
Meet the eighth pair to enter the No Loose Guard House, Tjay and Ben. The online BFFs-turned-brothers are total opposites and form the dynamic duo BETA!💪🏿. Tjay is married and has a daughter. Ben says he parties for a living.
Ozee and Ocee
Another pair of twins in the house! Ozee and Ocee are the MBADIWE TWINS.
Damilola and Toyosi
The tenth duo are another pair of female friends, Damilola and Toyosi. They called themselves TAMI. They met during their industrial training. They said they are open to relationships.
Anita and Nelly
Bestiles Anita and Nelly found their friendship in beauty and pageantry and are now in Biggie’s house as NELITA!
The eleventh pair, Anita and Nelly have been friends for nine years. Nelly is a model, while Anita is a pole dancer. They met in 2015. The duo said they are not interested in relationship in the house.
Mayor Frosh and Toby Fogre
The twelfth pair of the night, Mayor Frosh and Toby Forge, are friends who met at the University of Lagos. They are known as Streeze. The duo said their only distraction in the house would be “beautiful ladies.”
Kassia and KelleyRae
The thirteenth pair, Kassia and Kellyrae, dated for 10 years and got married in February this year. They are called Double Kay.
Their strategy is not to tell the housemates they’re married.
“We’ll tell them we’re besties,” they said.
Chizoba and Onyeka
The final duo to enter the BBNaija S9 house are Sisters Chizoba and Onyeka. Onyeka and Chizoba, are friends who call themselves Chekas. Their strategy is to steal other housemates’ strategies.
