Former Big Brother Naija winner and online streamer, Phyna, has publicly called out popular content creator Ashmusy, accusing her of trying to sabotage her involvement in a lucrative multi-million-naira celebrity boxing contract. In an emotional video posted to her Instagram page, the reality TV star labeled Ashmusy “evil” and accused her of attempting to hijack the opportunity.
How the Controversy Began
According to Phyna, her engagement with the boxing promotion company started in February 2026. She was initially scheduled to fight a Ghanaian opponent, who later pulled out of the event due to a scheduling conflict. Because of her strong rapport with the organizers, Phyna was asked to recommend other female celebrities who might be interested in joining the roster.
Wanting to help a colleague, Phyna suggested Ashmusy to the promoters. After getting the green light from the organizers, Phyna reached out to Ashmusy and connected her directly with the management team through a three-way phone call.
Accusations of Sabotage and Backstabbing
However, what was meant to be a collaborative opportunity quickly turned sour. Phyna claimed that immediately after Ashmusy secured direct contact with the promoters, she stopped answering her calls and ignored her messages. Shortly after, Phyna discovered that Ashmusy was allegedly lobbying the organizers to drop her from the fight entirely.
“Do you know that Ashmusy has been telling the organizer to drop me, claiming she has a better person to replace me?” Phyna revealed in her video. “I have been in talks with this company for seven months, since February. I was the one who brought Ashmusy in just last week, and now she is trying to take food out of my mouth.”
An visibly upset Phyna did not hold back her anger, accusing the influencer of being ruthless and ungrateful. “You are telling them to remove the person who brought the job to you. Ashmusy, you are evil,” she stated.
Social Media Reacts
The public call-out has triggered intense reactions across social media, with fans and industry observers debating the ethics of business dealings among Nigerian entertainers. At the time of reporting, Ashmusy has not yet publicly responded to the allegations.
