The management of Heritage has taken to their Instagram page to set the records straight about their relationship with #BBNaija housemate Tobi.
According to the Instagram handle, the housemate resigned before joining the contestants of the 2018 edition of the Big Brother Nigeria show. “We know you have all been wondering about Tobi’s connection to Heritage Bank,” said the statement, adding, “This is to clarify that he is a former staff of the bank and resigned appropriately prior to the Big Brother Naija show @bigbronaija.”
This clarification follows the speculations making rounds that the bank, which is the official sponsor of this year’s show, are influencing it in favour of Tobi. Although they did not feed into that propaganda, they have made it known that he no longer works for them, meaning they could never influence it in the favour of an ex-staff.
