Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Flora Egbedi has stirred controversy after accusing several of her fellow contestants of falsifying their ages. The revelation has sparked widespread debate among fans of the popular reality television show.
During a candid conversation on Tuesday night, the 30-year-old housemate claimed that a significant number of contestants are far older than they have led the public and their peers to believe. Flora admitted that she now regrets her decision to be honest about her own age, stating that she should have followed suit.
“If I had known, I would have lied that I am 20 years old. I see a lot of people who are way older than the ages they claimed to be in this house,” Flora stated during the chat.
The Lone Exception and Viewer Outrage
While Flora refused to point fingers directly or mention specific names, she did reveal there is only one person she fully believes. According to her, Trams is the sole housemate whose declared age seems genuine.
Her allegations have quickly gone viral, prompting strong reactions from the show’s viewers and online reviewers. A large section of the audience is now calling on the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, to interrogate Flora during the upcoming Sunday live eviction show, urging him to press her for specific names.
Allegations of age falsification are not new to the Big Brother Naija franchise. Over the years, numerous housemates have faced intense scrutiny and skepticism from viewers regarding their real ages, making Flora’s latest claims a continuation of a long-standing reality TV debate.
