Tems, the internationally recognized musician, recently shared in an interview that she faces restrictions on going out when she is in Nigeria. The talented singer opened up about how her music career originated from a lack of friends.
During the interview, Tems mentioned that Nigerians tend to be highly observant, and as soon as she arrives in Nigeria, people in her vicinity become aware of her presence. She acknowledged that even in America, where she currently resides, she still garners attention, although it’s not as pronounced as it is in Nigeria.
Tems explained that Nigerians have a keen interest in drama and are always curious about what’s happening. When the interviewer suggested that she might try to disguise herself when going out in America, Tems admitted that she had attempted it but was still recognized, so she no longer attempts to conceal her identity.
