A well-known former billionaire’s spouse, AbdulShally, has shared her opinion on the legal battle for custody between Sophia Momodu and Davido. She believes that N5 million is an ample amount for housing allowance.
This commentary comes amidst the contentious custody dispute between Sophia and the popular singer, who has been accused of neglecting their child and not providing financial support over the past two years.
In her statement, AbdulShally expressed that Davido’s N5 million allowance offer should be enough to cover housing expenses anywhere in Nigeria. Drawing from her own experience, the ex-wife of the billionaire mentioned that following her divorce, her ex-husband gifted her a Peugeot which she later sold to buy a car of her choice.
She also recounted how she relocated their children to the US, where the cost of school fees was ten times higher, and she took it upon herself to cover the additional expenses since she chose to move to America.
AbdulShally concluded by asserting that Sophia Momodu should not anticipate the privileges of a wife while being a single mother, emphasizing the importance of her fulfilling her responsibilities as a mother as well.
