Hajia Mujahidat Daba Dokubo-Asari, wife of controversial former militant leader, Asari-Dokubo, has predicted victory for President Goodluck Jonathan ahead of the February 14 presidential election.
On her Facebook page on Tuesday, Daba alleged that “The north has ganged up against the south east, the south south and other minorities in Nigeria.”
“This fight is not against Gej (President Goodluck Jonathan); it’s pure hatred against the goose that lays the golden eggs. “As for the wicked and ignorant south westerners who have decided to form alliance with the north to truncate the transformation agenda of Gej, history will forever remember them and their offspring’s as betrayals of the south and it shall never be well with them.
“From all indication when the results start trickling in on February 14th Gej will win with a landslide victory and all enemies of democracy will be put shame, amen.”
Commenting on the reactions to the statement, Daba wrote: “I posted an article today about what is happening in politics in Nigeria today. “The gang up against GEJ and how some south westerners have collaborated with the north to deny GEJ of completing his second term. In office.
“To set the record straight I did not say the whole south west, I said the ignorant and the wicked ones among them collaborated with the north to wrestle power from GEJ.”
