Adijat, who is reportedly the baby mama of Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has broken her silence amid ongoing family controversies, accusing him of neglect despite her support during his early struggles.
In a viral post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Adijat claimed that she stood by Asake during his school days, providing financial assistance and sending him money despite her own limited resources.
However, she alleged that after completing his education and moving to Lekki, Asake became distant from her and their child, making her feel as though she was forcing herself into his life.
Recalling their strained relationship, she stated:
“When he was in school, the little I had, I sent to him. Even the contributions I made, I would collect and send to him. But after he finished from OAU and moved to Lekki, it became difficult to reach him or even see him.”
She further revealed that when she expressed her concerns about their lack of communication, Asake dismissed her, asking if that was what truly mattered.
“When I told him it had been long since we saw each other, he asked me if that was important. He started giving me attitude,” she added.
According to Adijat, when their child was about to turn five, her mother reached out to Asake to inform him that his father was troubling her. However, his response was disheartening.
“He said I was forcing myself on him and that my problems were too much. Later, he sent me messages saying he would block me. He told me I was free to marry someone else, as he had no time for a relationship.”
She tearfully recounted how their child turned six and seven with little to no support from him.
As the video spread across social media, concerned individuals flooded the comment section, sharing their opinions on the matter.
