Lesotho Military have taken control of Police HQ in manifest coup attempt, says Sport Minister and leader of BN party Thesele Maserebane.
The Small African Kingdom notorious for its long history of military coup since its independence from Britain 1966,is witnessing another,as army seizes government buildings and jammed “phone and radio communications”.
The recents development is a testament of what has been a shaky coalition ruiling the kingdom which is bordered on all sides by South Africa, citing recent party disagreement in the parliament and threats from the LCD party to forge a new government ousting Prime Minister Thabane.
Though there have been reports of gunfire in the capital ,no killings or arrests has been made in what looks like an easy transfer of Power to the Military who has the support of King Leslie III, ruiling constitutional monarch since 1996.
