Egypt has been able to successfully negotiate a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Isreal.
The news was happily welcomed by Palestinians as thousands of them took to the street of Gaza to celebrate.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas gave a speech from the occupied West Bank thanking Egypt the US and Qatar for their roles in making the agreement possible.
Hama’s Deputy Leader Moussa Abu Marzouk while speaking from exile described it as a “victory of Resistance” of what has been seven weeks endless blood shed resulting in 2,142 Palestinians mostly civilians and 490 children, while a total of 69 Israeli have been killed mostly soldiers.
