The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, on Sunday said his party’s presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari will defeat both President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice-President Namadi Sambo in their states of origin.
“I am shocked at the kind of crowd I see in our various campaign grounds. For now, we have secured over 20 million votes. In Bayelsa and Kaduna states, we will defeat Jonathan and Sambo,” he said.
Bayelsa is Jonathan’s home state while Sambo is from Kaduna State.
Oyegun stated this at a luncheon organised for APC leaders in the Edo South senatorial district, in Benin, the Edo State capital.
