Disturbed members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State have been advised to sheathe their swords and work for the good of the party.
Delta State APC chieftain, Messiah Omozue traced the grievances of some party members to the recent nomination of Engr. Samuel Adjogbe as Executive Director, Projects, Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, by the party.
Omozue stated that the nomination of Engr. Adjogbe was apt and a blessing to the state.
He warned that those fighting Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, the party leader in the state over the nomination of Adjogbe were being selfish.
According to him, “Some selfish people who gatecrashed into the party after Buhari’s victory are the ones fuelling and sponsoring the protests.”
“Their aim is to come and eat. They don’t have respect for the party leadership. But I want to urge them to retrace their steps and join hands with us all to build the party.”
