Anita Okoye, ex-wife of Nigerian music icon Paul Okoye, has warmed many hearts after posting a wholesome Thanksgiving video featuring her children, close friends, and her former sister-in-law, Lola Omotayo-Okoye.
In the clip shared on Instagram, Anita is seen moving around on crutches while cooking and serving meals to her guests.
Despite her injury, she remained upbeat, smiling, and fully involved as she bonded with her family throughout the celebration.
She explained that she sustained the injury while playing tennis but noted that she’s choosing to move forward with gratitude and resilience.
In her caption, Anita expressed heartfelt appreciation for her “babies,” her strong support system, the soft moments she treasures, and the gift of inner strength. She noted that the injury “tried it,” but she’s “still standing strong.”
