Afeez Agoro Oladimeji, the tallest man in Nigeria, passed away at the age of 48 following a protracted illness.

Afeez Agoro, a well-known actor and reality TV personality who is popularly regarded as Nigeria’s tallest man at 7 feet 4 inches, has apparently been ailing for months as a result of a rumored fight with severe hip arthritis.

He reportedly experienced issues weeks after asking for financial aid to pay for surgery, and was brought to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, or LUTH, yesterday evening, June 14.

Around 7:30 yesterday night, he passed away.

Agoro’s funeral plans were said to have started at his home in Community Road, Akoka.

Agoro’s last post on Facebook was on May 28 after he recovered from a hip replacement.

He posted: “Thank God Almighty for a successful operation now it’s time for therapy.”
