Actor Justin Baldoni has been dropped by his talent agency, William Morris Endeavor (WME), following a lawsuit filed by actress Blake Lively accusing him of sexual misconduct and professional sabotage. The news, confirmed by sources close to TMZ, came shortly after the legal filing, although WME has not issued a statement explaining the decision.
Lively’s lawsuit alleges that Baldoni fostered a toxic work environment during the production of It Ends With Us. Among the claims, she accuses him of showing her a naked photo, discussing his past “pornography addiction,” sharing explicit details of his sexual history, and making comments about her weight. The allegations also detail how production was disrupted, allegedly requiring intervention to address the hostile environment.
In addition, the lawsuit accuses Baldoni and crisis PR strategists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel of coordinating efforts to tarnish Lively’s reputation. According to Lively, messages obtained via civil subpoena support claims of orchestrated defamation.
Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, has strongly denied the accusations, describing them as “false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious.” Freedman suggested the lawsuit is an attempt by Lively to repair her public image.
The situation also casts a spotlight on WME’s handling of the matter, as the agency reportedly represents both Lively and Baldoni. Requests for comment from Baldoni regarding his dismissal have so far gone unanswered.
