An abandoned baby was found inside a sack in Lagos.

The baby which is estimated to be about three months old was found near a motel in the Abule Egba suburb of Lagos.

Residents of the area are speculating that the baby might have been dumped by one of the prostitutes who work at the motel.

The baby was found in the early hours of today, Wednesday, January 27 abandoned in a bag near the Mobil filling station at Abule Egba.

Just few days ago, we reported that an 11-month-old baby who was abandoned by his mother in front of the palace of a traditional ruler in Coker-Ifako in Ifako-Ijaiye local government area of Lagos, has been rescued by the police

A baby was also found in a polythene bag in Kaduna.
