Veteran Nigerian musician 2Face Idibia has issued a heartfelt apology following backlash from a recent interview in which he claimed that men are not biologically built to be with just one woman.
In the now-viral interview, the singer stated that a man could genuinely love a woman and still cheat, sparking criticism from fans and the public.
However, in a follow-up video, 2Face took responsibility for his comments and offered an emotional apology to his supporters, his wife, his current partner, and his children.
He said: “I know I f.c#ked up with what I said and I know I’m going to get cancelled because of it. I apologise to my fans and most importantly, my wife, the love of my life, Natasha and also my kids. I’m terribly sorry. That’s not who I am.”

His opinion may be valid to him and some other men. But this kind of opinion is not something you should be saying to the general public, most especially when you are a public figure. When you know all eyes are on you.”
