Nigerian singer BNXN, formerly known as Buju, stirred up controversy by throwing a direct shade at rapper Dremo, who quickly responded. In a now-deleted post on the social media platform X, BNXN responded to a troll who accused him of using the 30BG label for publicity. The troll, @realwrldtimmy, said, “Werey your pen game no fit sell out 2500 capacity… You wan use 30BG trend.”
BNXN retorted with, “No go stream Dremo dem😂😂😂😂,” seemingly mocking Dremo’s music.
In response, Dremo, a DMW rapper, referred to BNXN as a “bowling pin” and mentioned that he was minding his own business until his name was brought up. He commented, “You see sey I de my own before bowling pin mention my name, I no dey find wahala but if wahala come no wahala.” When a fan suggested Dremo should confront BNXN, he replied, “He doesn’t have one,” implying BNXN lacks a neck.
This exchange follows a previous rift between BNXN and DMW boss Davido, sparked by a fan’s comment that belittled BNXN’s status in the Nigerian music industry, calling him a mid-level artist. Davido subsequently deleted related posts.
