Famed creator of online content, Sabinus, has released his inaugural digital currency, Sabicoin, becoming the second person to do so in the last month.
It is worth noting that the Afrobeat artist, Davido Adeleke, introduced his token, $Davido, a few weeks ago, leading to an uproar as some fans suffered financial losses.
In a recent statement on the X platform, Sabinus disclosed that his digital currency was a product of his investment acumen and the widespread use of his memes on various social media platforms. “Sabicoin is a digital currency inspired by the Investor himself, Sabinus and the popular use of his memes on several social media platforms,” he wrote.
Despite the impact, fans have expressed apprehension as many are struggling to recuperate their losses from the $Davido coin.
