A driver and 3 passengers on their way to Idah were allegedly crushed to death by a truck in an attempt to escape a robbery gang.
Eyewitnesses blames the presence of robbers on the road of Idah highway.
Apparently the robbers seem to be on the road almost every other day.
A witness went as far numbering the robbers and says “Am 100% sure those armed robbers are nothing less than 15 in number with weapons including guns, machetes, bows and arrows. They came out of the bush and blocked the road and it was while trying to turn away from the robbers that the accident occurred”.
Lack of safety on the highway seems to be one of the major obstacle the citizens of Idah are passing through now.
