LAGOS — For alleged beating, unlawful assault and causing grievous bodily harm to a 10-year-old cousin over bed-wetting, an aunt, Joy Amadu, was docked in an Ebute Metta court.
The Kogi State-born Amadu, who works as a security guard reportedly hit her cousin with a wooden object and inserted ointment, Aboniki, in her eyes and private part and the girl became unconscious.
Amadu rushed her to a hospital at Ajah, where the girl was rejected and referred to a military hospital on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi.
She was given April 25 to be in court when the matter will be mentioned and was admitted to a bail of N50,000 with a surety
