Zari Hasan, well-known Ugandan socialite and ex-partner of Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz, has responded to news of his recent marriage.
NAIJALOG previously reported that the Jeje crooner officially married Zuchu, an artist signed under his record label, in a private ceremony held on June 1, 2025.
In a now-viral video circulating on social media, Zari—who ended her relationship with Platnumz due to his repeated infidelity—shared her thoughts on the union. She praised Zuchu’s resilience in managing the singer’s controversial behavior.
During her appearance on AyoTV, Zari stated, “Zuchu wins girlfriend award of the year. She is strong. We could not do it. I hope Platnumz treats her better now because she’s a wife now.
Let him change, it would be really nice. That guy is pulling out a lot of shit.”
Zari’s comments reflect her past struggles with the artist’s unfaithfulness, which ultimately led to their breakup.
