Yul Edochie’s music signee, Mr. V.ic, has voiced his frustration over the rising cost of living and the financial pressure he faces daily.
In a recent video shared on his social media page, V.ic revealed that he spends between ₦750,000 to ₦800,000 every single day.
Expressing deep concern, he questioned how people without a steady income are managing to survive in the current economic climate. He noted that even basic staples like gari, once considered a meal for the poor, have now become a luxury.
V.ic added that ever since he ventured into the music industry, his inbox has been flooded with fans asking for financial help. He mentioned regularly giving out around ₦100,000 in giveaways just to support his followers.
“There’s nothing tangible to show for the amount I spend,” he said. “But by the end of the week, I’ve easily spent around ₦700K to ₦800K. The requests don’t stop — even this morning, I spent at least ₦100K just on giveaways.”
