Old Tinubu Tweet on Insecurity Resurfaces, Sparks Nationwide Debate

Controversial After Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima were sworn in as Nigeria’s 16th president and vice president, Nollywood star Yul Edochie congratulated them.
The troubled actor appealed to God to provide the team the means to take Nigeria to new heights.
This message was delivered by Edochie in a tweet sent on Monday from his Twitter account, along with his congratulations to Tinubu and Shettima on taking the oath of office.
“Congratulations to our new President & Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu
@officialABAT, His Excellency Kashim Shettima @KashimSM. May God give you all you need to lead our country to greater heights,”
he wrote.
The president was sworn in on May 29 at Eagles Square in Abuja under the supervision of Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, Chief Justice of Nigeria.
Following his victory against Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Tinubu vowed to defend the integrity and genuine loyalty of the Nigerian constitution.
